FIELD SESSION:

- OPERATIONAL SAFETY BRIEFINGS / EMERGENCY RESPONSE PLANS (PRACTICAL)

- PUMPS AND HOSE LAY (PRACTICAL)

- FIRE ASSESSMENT (PRACTICAL)

- CREW CONFIGURATION (PRACTICAL)

- COMMUNICATIONS (PRACTICAL)

STUDENTS CAN EXPECT TWO 15 MINUTE BREAKS IN THE MORNING, A HALF HOUR LUNCH, AND TWO 15 MINUTE BREAKS IN THE AFTERNOON

WHAT TO BRING:

  • Part of this course will be held outdoors, please dress accordingly.

  • Please wear closed toed footwear at all times. Boots, gloves, and hi viz vest are required for Day 2.

  • These are 10+ hour sessions, with two coffee breaks and a half hour lunch. Please bring adequate food and water.

  • This facility has hard chairs. Consider a cushion or blanket for comfort.

  • Day 1: Pencil/Pen, Notebook, and any supplies you wish for a classroom session.

  • Day 2: Hardhat, hi viz vest, boots and any supplies you wish for a practical, on-site field session.

  • * Members of the public may borrow Loki Tree protective equipment.
