STUDENTS CAN EXPECT TWO 15 MINUTE BREAKS IN THE MORNING, A HALF HOUR LUNCH, AND TWO 15 MINUTE BREAKS IN THE AFTERNOON
WHAT TO BRING:
Part of this course will be held outdoors, please dress warmly on both days.
Please wear closed toed footwear at all times. Boots, gloves and hi viz vest are required for Day 2.
These are 10 hour sessions, with two coffee breaks and a half hour lunch. Please bring adequate food and water.
This facility has hard chairs. Consider a cushion or blanket for comfort.
Day 1: Pencil/Pen, Notebook, and any supplies you wish for a classroom session.
Day 2: Hardhat, hi viz vest, boots and any supplies you wish for a practical, on-site field session.
* Members of the public may borrow Loki Tree protective equipment.
*If you are applying to work as a wildland firefighter, you will want to buy your own personal protective equipment.
